SKILLS/EDUCATION / LICENSING :
1. 2 years of previous experience
2. Florida plant ID, pest and weed knowledge a plus
3. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not necessary
4. Valid and insurable Driver’s License is a plus
5. BMP Certification required within 30 days of accepting position
6. Attention to detail is a must
7. Experienced in landscaping techniques that promote efficiencies within an assigned project

Full knowledge of how to safely operate landscaping equipment (riding/walk-behind mowers, weed-eaters, blowers, trimmers, etc.)

Compensation:
– $12.00 – $13.00 per hour BOE

Job Description

The Spray Technician keeps our client’s turf and shrubs healthy and green through the proper measurement, mixture and application of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and fertilizers.

Duties:
• Properly measure and mix chemicals and fertilizers to correct specifications.
• Apply liquid and granular fertilizer.
• Identify and diagnose primary turf disease and insect damage. Identify common weeds.
• Operate motors or machinery with spray equipment. Use a variety of vehicles for transportation over larger
areas.
• Keep service tools, machinery & vehicles clean & maintained.
• Correctly track material usage and properly apply to job.
• Attend all required field safety training and utilizing proper safety equipment.

Requirements:
• Two years of experience in fertilization and chemicals.
• Clean driving record.
• Professional appearance
• Ability to be highly functional in a team environment, as well as able to perform with minimum supervision
and direction.
• Takes ownership of responsibilities and demonstrates pride in work.
• Effective communication skills; Bilingual: Spanish is a plus.

Job Description

The Maintenance Foreman is responsible for working closely with the crew and managing the landscaping process and ensuring the profitability, efficiency, and effectiveness of the Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Work alongside the crew to ensure that all jobs are completed according the client’s specifications and within budget
– Responsible for completing time-sheets and other paperwork
– Ensure that all projects meet our high-quality control standards
– Must have good interpersonal and leadership skills and understand how to motivate staff
– Work closely with Production Managers to provide feedback on progress of jobs

SKILLS/EDUCATION / LICENSING:
1. Two years of previous Foreman Experience
2. Minimum 3 years’ prior landscape maintenance experience
3. Valid Florida Driver’s License – REQUIRED –
4. Attention to detail is a must
5. Experienced in landscaping efficiency techniques and operating landscaping equipment (riding/walk-behind mowers, weed-eaters, blowers, trimmers, etc.)

Job Description

RESPONSABILITIES
1. Managing a maintenance team of 12 to 15
2. Training team members as well as holding then accountable
3. Quality control and pre and post inspections on all assigned properties
4. Logistics, scheduling and target budget of assigned team
5. Communicate safety practices and procedures (PPE)
6. Internal communication to other departments (Account management, irrigation, horticulture, etc.)

SKILLS/EDUCATION / LICENSING
1. Bilingual (English/Spanish) – REQUIRED
2. 3 years of previous supervisory experience in landscape management
3. Minimum of 5 years prior landscape maintenance experience
4. Valid Florida Driver License, with a clean insurable record is required
5. FNGLA-FCHP Certification must be obtained within the first year of employment
5. CPR and First Aid Certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment
7. Attention to details is a must
8. Familiar with Microsoft suite products, computer literate
