GENERAL
The primary responsibility of a Mechanic is to safely and effectively operate on different machinery to ensure our crews have operating equipment at hand. A strong mechanic will lead inventory and fleet control. They work closely with the Crew Leads and Mechanic Lead to ensure projects are completed in a timely fashion.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be capable of enforcing company policies with respect to integrity, quality and safety
- Manages inventory
- Treats employees and customers in a polite, friendly, and respectful manner
- Keep warehouse organized and clean
- Works on machinery including zero turns, walk behinds, and edger’s
- Other duties as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanically inclined and willingness to receive mechanical certification
- 3-5 years of small engine repair experience or small engine education certification
- Must be able to meet the driving qualifications
- Organization and time management skills
- Ability to work under a fast-paced environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Ged/High School Diploma is required
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- Knowledge of Hydraulic Systems
- Knowledge of electrical trouble shooting
- Knowledge of tire changing and patching
- Experience pulling and backing up a trailer
- Welding and Fabrication is a PLUS
- Car/Truck repair is a PLUS
