The primary responsibility of a Mechanic is to safely and effectively operate on different machinery to ensure our crews have operating equipment at hand. A strong mechanic will lead inventory and fleet control. They work closely with the Crew Leads and Mechanic Lead to ensure projects are completed in a timely fashion.


  • Must be capable of enforcing company policies with respect to integrity, quality and safety
  • Manages inventory
  • Treats employees and customers in a polite, friendly, and respectful manner
  • Keep warehouse organized and clean
  • Works on machinery including zero turns, walk behinds, and edger’s
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Mechanically inclined and willingness to receive mechanical certification
  • 3-5 years of small engine repair experience or small engine education certification
  • Must be able to meet the driving qualifications
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work under a fast-paced environment


  • Ged/High School Diploma is required
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic Systems
  • Knowledge of electrical trouble shooting
  • Knowledge of tire changing and patching
  • Experience pulling and backing up a trailer
  • Welding and Fabrication is a PLUS
  • Car/Truck repair is a PLUS
